Day of Talent
Presented by Liszt Academy
Seven years ago, Liszt Academy organized its first Talent Day, a one-day program designed to give the public a glimpse behind the scenes and to get an idea of what everyday life is like at the university, including classes, and in many cases to meet young talents who may become the new stars of the music world in a few years' time. Talent not only lends an air of mystery and privilege to those who possess it, but also demands discipline. Its nature has long been studied by philosophers, aestheticians, educators, and more recently, neurologists. The open day reveals to those interested the secret of how to make the most versatile, accurate, and valuable use of extraordinary talents.
