Liszt-Picnic

7 June 2026, 10.00-19.00

Liszt Ferenc place

Liszt-Picnic Presented by Liszt Academy

Time change

The date of the Liszt-Picnic has been changed from May 16 to June 7.

We invite you to a free, all-day outdoor event on June 7 at Liszt Ferenc Square. At the Liszt Picnic, we will announce our fall 2026 season and, for the first time in many years, offer season tickets to our audience. At the event, we’ll turn the Liszt Academy upside down: we’ll build a stage in the square, and music will play from morning till night. Several artists will perform—artists the audience can hear during the fall concerts—including Gábor Farkas, Izabella Simon, Eszter Karasszon, János Balázs, 3B, as well as students from the Academy’s vocal, wind, percussion, and jazz departments. Our ticket office will also be moving outdoors, where our new season tickets will be available for purchase, and single-concert tickets will be sold at a 20% discount. We’ll have children’s programs, prize games, and gift items, and visitors can sample the Liszt menu at Korhely Restaurant, enjoy cocktails from ShowRum in the Academy’s gazebos, and refresh themselves with selections from the Cafe Vergnano coffee tricycle. See you at the Liszt Picnic!
