Ziyu He, Yoon Kuk Lee & Anima Musicae

Anima Musicae is the resident ensemble of the Szent Gellért Festival in Szeged, where, under the artistic direction of Yoon Kuk Lee, rising stars of the international concert scene perform year after year. The chamber orchestra will open the festival with a program featuring masterpieces by Mozart and Beethoven, and Budapest audiences can now hear their concert in the Main Hall as part of their Grandioso subscription series. The soloist in Beethoven’s Violin Concerto will be the young Chinese-Austrian artist Ziyu He, who made his debut as a soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic in 2017 at the Musikverein in Vienna under the baton of Ádám Fischer.
