Karsa Vanyó & Attila Szaniszló CHAMBER RECITAL Presented by Liszt Academy

The Liszt Academy places great importance on providing a platform for its competition-winning young artists to introduce themselves to the concert-going public. This evening features two multi-award-winning talents – one currently in vocational training and the other at the university level – as they take the stage at Solti Hall.

As a student of the Weiner Leó Conservatoire, Karsa Vanyó has already proven his mettle on both the national and international stages. Last year, he secured second place at the 3rd Zoltán Kodály International Music Competition. His impressive resume also boasts first prizes from a prestigious competition in Brno, the 15th National Secondary School Trumpet Competition, the 47th Brass and Percussion Meeting and Competition in Debrecen, and the Davison Young Musician contest held right here at the Liszt Academy.

Pianist Attila Szaniszló, who began his journey in the Liszt Academy’s School for Exceptional Young Talents before moving on to the classes of Kálmán Dráfi and Gábor Farkas, boasts an equally distinguished record. He has claimed top honours at the Ferenc Liszt International Youth Piano Competition, as well as international piano contests such as the one in Orbetello (Italy), the Rezonanțe Sonore (Romania), and the Lala Meryem (Morocco). In 2025, his achievements were further solidified when he was presented with the Junior Prima Prize, widely considered the most prestigious recognition for young artists in Hungary.
