Sebastian Cazan (piano)

Sebastian-Daniel Cazan graduated from the George Enescu Music High School in Bucharest before earning both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano from the National University of Music Bucharest, where he studied under Viniciu Moroianu. He has participated in masterclasses given by renowned musicians including Adrian Suciu, Roberto Turrin, Gabriel Teclu, and Robert Levin. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards, including Third Prize at the Ferenc Liszt International Piano Competition in Spain, First Prize and a Special Prize at the Frédéric Chopin International Competition in Bacău, a Gold Medal at the Amadeus International Music Awards in Salzburg, and Second Prize at the 22nd Hungarian Music Festival organized by the Liszt Institute in Bucharest. At the latter event, he was recognized for his performance of Ferenc Liszt's Piano Sonata in B minor, which he will also perform at his Budapest recital alongside Frédéric Chopin's Sonata in B minor, composed nine years earlier.
