The Hungarian Radio Children's Choir's Christmas Concert

This year the children on stage will create Christmas atmosphere primarily through the wonderful works of German Romanticism. Through staging Mendelssohn’s popular psalms for children’s choir, Rheinberger’s motet for Advent and the rarely performed cantata by Reger ‘Vom Himmel hoch’, the performers will also take full advantage of the organ at Liszt Academy. Of course, we will also be able to enjoy Palánták Choir’s nativity play and will likewise get a taste of traditional Hungarian children’s choir music literature for the Christmas period.
