The programme of the ChamberSoloists’ Tango & Classics concert has also been compiled in the spirit of their mission aimed at popularising classical music. The crossover of genres is presented with the aid of two epochal works, Antonio Vivaldi’s Four seasons and Astor Piazzolla’s composition entitled Four seasons in Buenos Aires. In the case of the latter piece, the popular tango artist was inspired by Vivaldi’s work: flatteringly, he constantly incorporates famous motifs from his great predecessor into his melodies. The ensemble was founded by violinist Csaba Fehér and economist and amateur violinist Péter Farkas.
