Sunhae Im and Andrea Meláth met each other for the first time at Stuttgart Opera for Francis Poulenc’s Les Dialogues des Carmelites several years ago. Sunhae Im is mainly performing Baroque repertoire with the conductors such as René Jacobs and Philippe Herreweghe, while Andrea Meláth, the recipient of the Liszt prize serves as the Head of Department of Vocal and Opera Studies in the Liszt Academy, and performs as regular guest singer of Hungarian State Opera and the other famous opera houses in the world.
For the first half, works by the great composers from two countries are selected. The two singers share their interest in Liszt, and deliver to us folk songs from their homelands. The second part is full of the essential repertoire of Austro-German Lieder.
