5th Éva Marton International Singing Competition / Gala concert Presented by Liszt Academy
Offline&online
The 5th Éva Marton International Singing Competition has come to an end, the jury and audience have each made their decision, and the winners of this year's event have been announced – a decision made based on more than 130 contestants, who had submitted their recordings to the preliminary round in spring 2022. Now back to our familiar rhythm, the Éva Marton International Singing Competition will continue to be organised by the Liszt Academy every two years, in even-numbered years. We are also returning to the tradition of holding our Gala Concert at the Hungarian State Opera. There the audience will have another chance to hear the most talented of all these young singers, whom they have come to know and love over the previous days. For the singers, a performance at the newly renovated grand Opera building will represent a significant step in their careers, much like the Liszt Academy has. With the celebrations thus in full swing, a curious public has begun to ask: when and where will we have a chance to see the winners of the 2022 Éva Marton Singing Competition again?
