The point is to increase gradually the level of the understanding, cultivation and practice of musical art. This task falls particularly to the new Academy.

Only the best young artists will qualify for the orchestral finals of the violin competition, where they will have a choice of seven concertos to perform: two Bartók concertos as well as one each by Mendelssohn, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, Beethoven or Sibelius.
