Jaeden Izik-Dzurko (piano)

Jaeden Izik-Dzurko’s concert program at the Liszt Academy features three iconic pieces of the piano sonata repertoire. Over the past few years, the young Canadian performer has triumphed in competitions such as the Hilton Head International Piano Competition and the Maria Canals International Music Competition in Barcelona. He won the first prize at the 2023 Paloma O’Shea Santander International Piano Competition, in addition to also snatching up the audience award and the chamber music award. Jaeden Izik-Dzurko is a sought-after soloist at symphonic concerts, having performed in many corners of the world. Despite his young age, critics hail him as an experienced performer. He has taken the stage at London's Wigmore Hall, the Salle Cortot in Paris, and the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. He made his debut at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) in October 2022. A critic from a New York concert magazine praised his refined tonal palette, polished technique, and humility towards music.
