Chamber Orchestra formed by the Danubia Orchestra

At the joint concert by the Danubia Orchestra Máté Hámori and the Dunakanyar (Danube Bend) Contemporary Music Forum, the chamber orchestra formed from members of the Danubia Orchestra will perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s Orchestral Suite in D major (BWV 1068) and contemporary works in the same instrumental setting, including the winning works of the Dunakanyar Contemporary Music Forum composition competition. The winning composers will learn to perform their own works in a pre-concert conducting masterclass, giving them an insight into working with an orchestra and the conducting profession, and will then take to the stage at the closing concert alongside Máté Hámori, who will lead the course.
