RETHINKING CENTRAL EUROPEAN MUSIC A Zeneakadémia saját szervezésű programja

Rethinking Central European Music – a Zenetudományi Tanszék Közép-európai Zenetörténeti Kutatócsoportjának nemzetközi konferenciája a zenetudomány különböző területeiről sorakoztat fel olyan előadásokat, amelyek valamilyen viszonyt alakítanak ki Közép-Európa fogalmával. A 2023-as Bartók Világverseny rendezvényeként a konferencián rangos magyar és európai szakemberek mutatják be kutatásaikat. A program az elmúlt 200 év zenei jelenségeinek széles skáláját, egyének, közösségek és intézmények változatos zenei tevékenységét öleli fel. A konferencián a közép-európai identitás lehetséges zenei dimenzióinak megvitatására is sor kerül.
