The second weekend of October at the Liszt Academy is devoted to the music of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach who was born three hundred years ago. Miklós Spányi and the artists of Concerto Armonico Budapest will be dedicating three concerts to the son of Johann Sebastian, who enjoyed the greatest career among the Bach-sons. C. P. E. Bach kindly agreed to give an exclusive interview to the Liszt Academy Concert Magazine.

The second year MA flautist student of the Liszt Academy won second prize at the Leos Janacek International Competition organized in Brno between 21-26 September 2014.

Between 3 and 5 October, the Liszt Academy presents a series of concerts marking the centenary of one of the greatest Hungarian performing artists of the 20th century, Annie Fischer.

The accomplishments of Éva Marton, István Párkai, Miklós Perényi and Ferenc Sebő have been recognized. Former professors at the Liszt Academy Sándor Balassa, László Dubrovay and Erzsébet Szőnyi also received the award.
