CHANGES CONCERNING THE SEPTEMBER CONCERTS ORGANISED BY THE LISZT ACADEMY
14 September 2020
The Academy of Music considers the safety of visitors to be of key importance, which is why we have put in place a number of security measures, about which you can read in detail by clicking HERE.
Our goal is to reduce the simultaneous presence of visitors in the building of the Liszt Academy. To this end, we are introducing the following changes with respect to our September concerts:
- On September 18, the concert of János Rolla and the ZAK Chamber Orchestra will take place at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., featuring the same programme. Previously purchased tickets are valid for both concerts, the change only serves to alleviate the congestion of the auditorium.
- On September 19, the solo evening of Barnabás Kelemen will take place at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., featuring the same programme. Previously purchased tickets are valid for both concerts, the change only serves to alleviate the congestion of the auditorium.
- The Grieg evening featuring Júlia Pusker, Gergely Devich and Marcell Szabó, announced for September 22 at 7 p.m., will be held in the Solti Hall without intermission. Due to the change in rules governing entry into Hungary, Gergely Devich will be replacing Christoph Heesch; the modified programme is available on our website.
- The piano evening of Fülöp Ránki, announced for September 23 at 7 p.m., will be held without an intermission. The modified programme is available on our website.
- The concert entitled All of Bartók's Chamber Works for Violin /1, announced for September 23 at 7 p.m., will take place in the Solti Hall featuring the original program, but without intermission.
- In September, the Coda podium talks scheduled after each concert will also be cancelled.
Please visit our website regularly, as ticket purchases may be reopened for September concerts, depending on the number of available seats.
We will provide information about our October programmes at a later date.
Thank you for your understanding!
