Grantees of the Bank of China Scholarship

The scholarship announced by the Bank of China Zrt., the Friends of the Liszt Academy of Music and the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music was available for Hungarian and international students of either BA or MA or soloist performing arts of the Liszt Academy. A committee consisting of representatives from the Bank of China, Friends of the Liszt Academy and The Liszt Ferenc Academy has chosen the following extraordinary students:

• Bálint Bress (classical guitar, MA I.)
• Eszter Farkas (classical dulcimer [cimbalom], BA III.)
• Sayaka Ito (clarinet, MA II.)
• Dániel Janca (percussion MA I.)
• Ninh Duc Hoang Long (voice, BA I.)
• Bencze Molnár (jazz piano BA III.)
• Ramóna Rádli (violoncello BA III.)
• Zsófia Staszny (opera MA II.)
• Du Xiaowan (violin MA I.)
• Fan Zheng Wen (piano MA I.)

According to the call for application the grant can be used primarily for new instruments, instrument renovation, accessories as well as for masterclasses and competitions.
