Information about the concerts of the Liszt Academy and ticket refund between 1 and 31 December 2020

Dear Audience,

We would like to inform you that the Liszt Academy will not hold any more public concerts this year, i.e. until 31 December 2020, according to the decision of the management of the University – although the government decree, which came into force on 11 November 2020, will run until 10 December only. Please note that most of our performances are nonetheless held and broadcast in our Online Concert Hall. Most of the concerts of the orchestras organizing season ticket series at the Liszt Academy will also be available online. We are looking forward to meeting you online in December with a lasting concert experience and high-quality broadcasts.

We will soon start the refund process for the tickets purchased online for the concerts organized by the Liszt Academy, through our ticket sales partner (the refund is made by our service provider, Interticket Kft.). The process may take several weeks, as a large number of transactions need to be made at once. Tickets purchased at the box office can be redeemed at the place of purchase until 31 December 2020.  The ticket office of the Liszt Academy is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays, until new measures are announced.  The ticket office can only respond to e-mails and provide information by phone during the opening hours.

In the coming weeks, we will award our patrons with season tickets a ticket voucher the value of which is quivalent to the part of their season ticket for the concert(s) affected. We would like to inform you that ticket vouchers cannot be redeemed for the purchase of online streaming access.

If you have a ticket for a concert not organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Center, the organizer of the given concert  (see the table below)  can provide information about the refund of the ticket price.

The  Liszt Academy can provide the following information about the programmes of the Academy in December.

All children's programmes of the Liszt Kidz Academy, tours of the main buildin and events of the Liszt Museum are cancelled.
