Information about the concerts of the Liszt Academy and ticket refund between 8 January 2021 and 31 January 2021

Dear Audience,

The management of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music have decided not to hold public concerts at the Liszt Academy Concert Centre until 31 January 2021, regardless of the government's decision on further restrictions that will come into force after 11 January 2021. Our performances continue to be available online. Below you will find information about the planned programmes for this period.

We would also like to draw the attention of families with small children to our “Secrets of Musical Instruments” series, which is an interactive online program for children between 6 and 10 years of age. The 15-20-minute videos in the five-part series introduce instruments to children in an entertaining way. The first three parts are already published on the website of the Liszt Academy and on the Liszt Kidz Academy Facebook page, and the remaining two parts will be available on 27 December and 3 January, respectively. We recommend you check our planned programme for the first half of 2021. Our spring programmes have been available on a separate page on our website since 17 December, and we will also start publishing an online programme magazine on 22 December, in which we will list our concerts in thematic groups. Due to the uncertainty caused by the epidemic, we do not sell traditional season tickets for now, and we only start selling tickets for a concert once we are certain that concerts can be held in the presence of an audience.

The following information is available about the programmes of the Liszt Academy from December 21 to January 31.

All children's programmes of the Liszt Kidz Academy, tours of the main building and events of the Liszt Museum are cancelled until further notice.

PURCHASED GIFT CARDS AND TICKET VOUCHERS

The validity period of gift cards purchased from 11 March 2019 to 31 December 2020 and ticket vouchers (gift vouchers) issued since the beginning of the epidemic has been uniformly changed to 31 December 2021. In the amount written on the gift card (ticket voucher), tickets can be purchased any number of times for the concerts organized by the Liszt Academy Concert Centre. The gift cards and the electronic or printed ticket vouchers can be all redeemed at the ticket office of the Liszt Academy or online, but only for future concerts organized for a live audience. We would like to inform you that gift cards and ticket vouchers cannot be used for purchasing online streaming access.

The ticket office of the Liszt Academy is open Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesdays and Fridays 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., and it is closed 24 December 24 and public holidays.
