Information about the re-opening of the ticket office at the Liszt Academy

25 May 2020

Dear Audience,

We are happy to inform you that from May 25 the ticket office located in the building of the Liszt Academy (1061 Budapest, Liszt Ferenc tér 8.) will be open again.

Opening hours:

Monday: 10 am – 3 pm
Tuesday: 2 pm – 6 pm
Wednesday: 10 am – 3 pm
Thursday: 2 pm – 6 pm
Friday: 10 am – 3 pm

Only one customer is allowed to be in the ticket office at a time, please keep a distance of 1.5 m from others and wear a mask while waiting.

In addition to purchasing new tickets and season tickets, customers can also request the refund of the tickets previously purchased in the ticket office for concerts organised by the Liszt Academy that have been cancelled. (Click here for a list of these concerts.)

For those who purchased season tickets for the performances of Denis Matsuev and the Chamber Orchestra Vienna-Berlin, or László Fenyő and the Borodin Quartet, as well as Kirill Gerstein and the Hagen Quartet, we can refund a proportionate part of the pass in the form of a gift card. We will soon provide information on the exact details of picking up the card; as the technical solution of this process is time consuming, these gift cards can be picked up later at the ticket office.

Please note that our autumn season passes can be purchased with a discount until 31 May. We recommend our online interface for purchasing tickets and season passes to avoid queuing and waiting at the ticket office.

The gift cards of the Liszt Academy can also be redeemed online, so we are unable to extend the validity of the card (which is one year from the date of purchase) due to the temporary closure of the ticket office.

Please also be informed that we have extended the deadline for the online redemption of tickets purchased in person through the Interticket network until 30 June. In the case of tickets purchased in person through the network (for example: Dalszínház Ticket Office, Broadway Ticket, Szabadtér Ticket Office, Rózsavölgyi Ticket Office, Stúdió Ticket Office, Ibusz offices in the countryside and in Budapest, Tourinform, Gruber Travel, Meridien Travel and other travel agencies, etc.), the refund of the ticket price can be requested by clicking here.

If you have any questions or remarks, our staff will be happy to assist you via the kozonsegkapcsolat [at] zeneakademia [dot] hu email address, as well as on the 06 30-339-5817 telephone number from Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm and from 2 pm to 4 pm.

We provide information about all changes on the website and on the Facebook page of the Liszt Academy.
