Interior Designer of Liszt Academy Reconstruction Wins Prestigious Professional Award
10 June 2014
Éva Magyari, interior designer, was awarded Interior Designer of the Year 2014.
The prize, which was founded by Péter Laki in 1998, is bestowed annually by the interior design department of the Chamber of Hungarian Architects as an acknowledgment of outstanding design projects judged by a professional jury. The awarding ceremony took place in the auditorium of Vigadó Concert Hall on 3 June 2014, and for the first time in the 16-year history of the prize it was awarded to two recipients: besides Éva Magyari, who contributed to the reconstruction of the main building of Liszt Academy at Liszt Ferenc Square as chief interior designer, Erzsébet Gothárd, the interior designer of the reconstruction of the Vigadó Concert Hall earned the prize.
