Finalists of the IV. Éva Marton International Singing Competition

In accordance with the decision of the international jury led by Éva Marton, after the final round of the semi-finals, 10 women and 14 men, including four Korean, as well as Hungarian and Ukrainian singers, took part in the semi-finals on September 2.

The competition began on Sunday evening at the Liszt Academy with the determination of the order in which the competitors will perform.

On the long weekend of August 20, the Liszt Academy will be organizing several tours of the building

On 15 June, the deadline for applications was closed, 33 ensembles submitted their entry videos on the online interface for this year’s string quartet competition website.

The online programmes of the first ever Day of Hungarian Classical Music event, held on May 30 - the birthday of the late Zoltán Kocsis – attracted an outstanding number of viewers.

Ticket sales for the autumn concerts organised by the Liszt Academy, featuring a host of Hungarian and foreign celebrities, started on June 2.
