Danubia Orchestra
Conductor: Francesco Bossaglia

Zoltán Fejérvári, one of the outstanding pianists of our time, will play the lead role in three works of vastly different character at this concert: not only will we hear his legendary Bach playing, but he will also perform the solo part in an early, dazzling work by Britten, as well as the piano part—written exclusively for the left hand—in Janáček’s extravagantly orchestrated Capriccio. He will be joined by flautist János Bálint, who is also the “Twin Star” or resident artist of the season. The conductor will be the Italian Francesco Bossaglia, who is leading the orchestra for the first time.
