This round-figure anniversary is being made all the more memorable with a host of special concerts and the final closure of the reconstruction project.

Four teachers from the Liszt Academy as well as several of its present and past students have been bestowed state honours.

During autumn 2015, the Career Office of the Liszt Academy is organizing seven concerts by young talented musicians on the stage of the Sir Georg Solti Chamber Hall and in the Chamber Hall of the Old Academy of Music.

The gifted pianist, who is supported by the Career Office of the Liszt Academy, won second prize at the 20th International Carl Filtsch Piano Competition.

László Szentgyörgyvölgyi’s appointment runs until 15 July 2018.
