A temporary exhibition titled "Liszt, the Teacher" is open at the museum, presenting a wide range of the master's pedagogical work.

On 29 April, chamber ensembles formed by students from music academies of Vienna, Hamburg, Stockholm and Budapest will perform new works by their students as well as one of Ligeti's last pieces, in the Grand Hall of Liszt Academy.

Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music is the highest ranked Hungarian institution in the QS 2023 rankings, taking 51st-100th place again in the performing arts category.

The application form has been published, which means that young violinists can apply for Bartók World Competition 2023 from now on.

The Liszt Academy in Budapest, as the organizer, has announced the Bartók World Competition – Violin 2023 with a total prize of 44,000 euros. The jury will again consist of world-renowned musicians.

The world-famous conductor received the certificate from President Dr. Andrea Vigh.

The 24-year-old Veljko Nenadić won first prize at the award ceremony of the 2022 competition for composers, and his work will be on the repertoire of next year's round for violinists.

Violin—piano duos were submitted for the 2022 round organised for composers, with violinists Ágnes Langer and Barnabás Kelemen as well as pianist József Balog performing at the gala.
